Sulzer is a global leader in fluid engineering and rotating equipment services, seeking a Field Service Engineer. You will install, commission, repair, and maintain rotating equipment on client sites worldwide, with offshore assignments and domestic/international travel.

The role emphasizes safety, reporting, and collaboration with internal teams to minimize downtime and ensure peak equipment performance. Flexible UK base with international travel opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Time-served mechanical engineer with proven practical experience in maintenance and overhaul of rotating equipment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including offshore assignments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in challenging environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, repair, commission, and maintain rotating equipment onshore and offshore.
• Dismantle, inspect, and report on equipment condition using field service documentation.
• Compile detailed inspection and commissioning reports and liaise with clients and internal teams.
• Reassemble and test equipment following OEM standards and engineering best practices.
• Ensure compliance with client and company safety procedures at all times.
