  • Monitor staffing levels and identify potential rota gaps.
  • Maintain accurate records and update scheduling systems.
  • Participate in the on-call rota as required.
  • Support the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care services.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve scheduling challenges.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Rota Coordinator, Scheduler, Care Coordinator or workforce planning role.
  • Experience within domiciliary care, supported living, healthcare or social care.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to last-minute changes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements.
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles and compliance requirements.
  • Experience participating in an on-call rota.
  • Knowledge of Working Time Regulations and staff availability management.

Please note: Previous experience using electronic rota scheduling systems is essential. Applications from candidates without rota management system experience are unlikely to be shortlisted.
