Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting on behalf of a nursery attached to an academy primary school in Bromsgrove for a Nursery Room Lead. 5 days a week, 8.30–16.00, term-time only. The ideal candidate will have Level 3 EYFS, room lead experience, paediatric first aid, and SEN inclusion awareness.

Knowledge of ASD and SALT interventions is valued. On-site SENCo support and inclusion focus are highlighted. The role requires leadership of a small team and readiness to contribute to operations as the site

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Early Years required.
• Experience leading a room or managing in a school setting preferred.
• Paediatric First Aid certification required.
• Knowledge of learning through play approaches is essential.
• Experience with Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) interventions is a plus.
• Must be a driver and able to commute to Bromsgrove.
• Available full-time during term time only.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
• Oversee SEN inclusion and inclusion-focused learning delivery.
• Manage day-to-day operations on site during core hours.
• Foster a warm, inclusive, and nurturing atmosphere for children and families.
• Ensure staff training, CPD, and intervention delivery are up to date.
• Support school leaders with safeguarding and inclusions initiatives.

Prospero Teaching is recruiting on behalf of a Nursery school which is attached to an Academy Primary school is seeking a Room Lead 5 days a week, the school require the lead to have experience in EYFS, management and have paediatric First Aid. The ideal candidate will be local and able to work Monday- Friday 8.30- 16.00 and have knowledge of ASD for which they have 5 children on EHCPs or un-diagnosed but referred to CAHMS. The nursery pride themselves on inclusion, referring early and they have an on site SENco.

The Ideal Candidate:

Key Responsibilities:

• Key Children - 5 Children on EHCPs/ deferred to CAHMS for ADHD/ ASD
• SEN awareness as they are an inclusion focused learning provider
• Be willing to lead a team of Teachers and TA's
• They are at capacity with pupils on rotation, but are extending the site, so someone who can support with operations on this
• Create a warm,inclusive, positive and nurturing atmosphere for children, parents and colleagues
• They pride themselves on great staff retention, and would like to welcome a committed leader
• Ensure all staff are compliant with training, CPD and interventions
