Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting on behalf of a Nursery school attached to an Academy Primary in Bromsgrove to appoint a Nursery Room Lead for full-time work, 8:30–16:00, five days a week. The role demands EYFS leadership, experience in management, and paediatric first aid, with ASD knowledge and supporting children on EHCPs.

The ideal candidate will be local, skilled in leading a team of teachers and TAs, and committed to inclusive practice within a thriving learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in EYFS, management and paediatric first aid for the lead.
• Local candidate able to work Monday-Friday 8:30-16:00 and ASD knowledge.
• Experience with children on EHCPs or referred to CAHMS.

Responsibilities

• Key Children: 5 on EHCPs/referred to CAHMS for ADHD/ASD.
• SEN awareness as an inclusion-focused learning provider.
• Lead a team of teachers and TAs.
• Support site extension and operations alongside capacity planning.
• Create a warm, inclusive, positive, nurturing atmosphere for children, parents and colleagues.
• Maintain high staff retention with a committed leadership presence.
• Ensure staff training, CPD and interventions are up to date.

Prospero Teaching is recruiting on behalf of a Nursery school which is attached to an Academy Primary school is seeking a Room Lead 5 days a week, the school require the lead to have experience in EYFS, management and have paediatric First Aid. The ideal candidate will be local and able to work Monday- Friday 8.30- 16.00 and have knowledge of ASD for which they have 5 children on EHCPs or un-diagnosed but referred to CAHMS. The nursery pride themselves on inclusion, referring early and they have an on site SENco.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 in Early Years
• Room Lead Experience (private Day or management in school)
• Paediatric First Aid
• Learning through play lead
• Experience with SALT intervention
• Driver
• Available Full-time (term time only)
• SEN inclusion awareness and driven

Key Responsibilities:

• Key Children - 5 Children on EHCPs/ deferred to CAHMS for ADHD/ ASD
• SEN awareness as they are an inclusion focused learning provider
• Be willing to lead a team of Teachers and TA's
• They are at capacity with pupils on rotation, but are extending the site, so someone who can support with operations on this
• Create a warm,inclusive, positive and nurturing atmosphere for children, parents and colleagues
• They pride themselves on great staff retention, and would like to welcome a committed leader
• Ensure all staff are compliant with training, CPD and interventionsProvided:
