Job summary

Bright Horizons Poole Day Nursery and Pre School in Poole, Dorset, is seeking a Room Leader to guide a dedicated team and provide high‑quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework.

You will lead room activities, mentor staff, foster strong partnerships with parents, and ensure safeguarding and welfare across the setting. A Level 3+ Early Years qualification and DBS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification.
• Experience as Room Leader or similar in an Early Years setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and EYFS requirements.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with parents and carers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team to deliver exceptional care and education.
• Promote child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding in the room.
• Maintain strong partnerships with parents and colleagues and professionals.
• Support children's developmental milestones within EYFS guidelines.
