Kindred Nurseries has a rare opportunity for a motivating early years leader to inspire a small team.

This is a full-time position requiring the successful candidate to work 40 hours Monday to Friday. The role offers a competitive salary of £31,020.80 - £32,488 (£14.80-£15.50 per hour), an extensive benefits package, and the opportunity to pursue your passion for growth and development.

The key responsibilities for a Room Leader include:

  • Leading the team of early years educators with a hands-on approach to deliver Kindred's pedagogy
  • Modeling and monitoring best practices in accordance with regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborating with your team to create a shared vision for the room
  • Supervising, supporting, and delegating tasks to your team
  • Supporting new starter inductions, welcoming them into the team and wider Kindred family
  • Managing performance through supervisions and one-to-one meetings
  • Deputising in the absence of Senior Management
  • Conducting nursery tours confidently to promote available spaces
  • Being a key holder for the nursery

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Hold a full and relevant Early Years Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher
  • Have experience working with children
  • Possess good time management skills and meet deadlines
  • Have excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Provide outstanding customer service

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Practitioner seeking a new challenge or a qualified Nursery Nurse ready to step into management.
