Kido is a place where innovation and imagination unite to create modern Early Years settings. We’re looking for a Room Leader to join our team at Kido International Nursery & Preschool Wandsworth, Unit 3B, 04, 6 Barley Walk, High Street, London SW18 1UL.

We are an international organization operating in India, USA, and the UK. All our UK nurseries are rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted and are located in London and Windsor. We are expanding, opening 1-2 new nurseries each year! At Kido, we incorporate the best practices from Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches, offering a unique curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We believe in a mix of free and structured play within an engaging, interactive environment, complemented by love, care, and attention to provide a strong foundation for early childhood development. What we offer

The Room Leader role offers a salary of up to £32,000 for a full-time, 40-hour week. Benefits include:

Role responsibilities

As a Room Leader, you’ll be a key ambassador of our values, leading your team to create inspiring learning experiences aligned with the EYFS and our curriculum. You will:

  • Take ownership of your classroom, planning and delivering engaging activities
  • Support educators in observing, assessing, and setting goals for children
  • Lead by example, ensuring standards are met and team growth is fostered
  • Create a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
  • Communicate effectively with parents, children, and colleagues
  • Record and celebrate children’s progress and achievements
  • Respect and adapt to each child's background, culture, and needs
Qualifications and experience
  • Level 3 childcare qualification or higher (see qualifications list)
  • Aligned with our core values: Listen, Learn, Lead
  • Experience as a Level 3 Educator, preferably as a Room Leader or Deputy
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Will undergo DBS check and provide details of unspent convictions if shortlisted
