Kido is a place where innovation and imagination unite to create modern Early Years settings. We’re seeking a Room Leader to join our team at Kido International Nursery & Preschool Battersea - 2 Palmer Road, London SW11 4GJ.

We operate internationally in India, USA, and the UK. All UK nurseries are rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted, located in London and Windsor. We are growing rapidly, opening 1-2 new nurseries each year! Our curriculum blends Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches, catering to children aged 3 months to 5 years. Role Responsibilities

As a Room Leader, you’ll embody our values and lead by example. You will:

• Take full ownership of your room, creating inspiring learning experiences aligned with EYFS and our curriculum
• Lead your team in planning and executing engaging activities
• Support educators in observing, assessing, and setting goals for children
• Model excellence, ensuring standards are met and team growth is fostered
• Utilize indoor and outdoor spaces to promote curiosity and exploration
• Communicate effectively with parents, children, and colleagues
• Assess and record children’s progress, celebrating achievements
• Ensure a nurturing environment respecting each child's background, culture, and needs

Candidate Requirements

• Level 3 childcare qualification or higher (see gov.uk for details)
• Aligned with our core values: Listen, Learn, Lead
• Experience as a Level 3 Educator, ideally as a Room Leader or Deputy
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Will undergo Safer Recruitment checks, including DBS
