Job summary

Zero2Five Early Years Recruitment are supporting a Bristol nursery to appoint an experienced Room Leader for the 2–4s room. You will lead daily operations, support staff, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment in line with EYFS.

The successful candidate will have Level 3 EYFS, strong safeguarding knowledge and a caring, team-focused approach. Paediatric First Aid and Child Protection training are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS.
• Caring, enthusiastic and team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day running of the 2 4s room.
• Support and motivate your team, ensuring staff are deployed effectively.
• Create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS.
• Complete observations, assessments and learning journeys.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and carers.
• Act as a positive role model and champion safeguarding, health and safety and best practice.
• Support the ongoing development of the team and setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Room Leader, or a confident Level 3 Nursery Practitioner ready to take the next step in their Early Years career.
