Job summary

Roomzzz Newcastle is seeking a Room Attendant to join our luxury aparthotel team in the heart of Geordieland. You will help deliver outstanding guest experiences by cleaning rooms to high standards and supporting the housekeeping team.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a zero-hour contract, with a pay rate of £12.45 per hour. Prior hotel or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Head Housekeeper to coordinate room cleaning with guest check-in/out.
• Maintain clean rooms to high standards including vacuuming, polishing and linen service.
• Deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness and courteous guest service.
• Report any defects or issues to the Senior Housekeeping Team.

We are recruiting a Room Attendant to join the amazing team at Newcastle. This is a great opportunity to be part of a luxurious brand where our friendly Housekeeping team deliver an excellent guest experience.

Duties:

• Liasie with the Head Housekeeper to ensure all rooms are cleaned in conjunction with guest check in and departures.
• Maintain clean rooms by vacuuming, polishing, providing linen services, dusting, clean to a high standard and perform other duties as advised by the Senior Housekeeping Team.
• Deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness, looking after guests needs and maintaining a polite and courteous attitude.
• Reporting any defects such as faults and any areas of concern.

Skills:

• Passion for cleanliness with a keen eye for detail and high standards.
• A desire to consistently deliver an excellent level of service and improve departmental performance.
• Focus on high standards of your own work and that of the team.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience of working in a hotel or in a similar position would be desirable but not essential!

Please note that this role is a zero hour contract and will include Weekends and Bank Holidays!

Pay: £12.45 per hour
