Job summary

Sea Containers London on the South Bank is seeking a confident, personable Host/Hostess for a part-time role atop 12th Knot, one of London's iconic rooftop destinations, renowned for cocktails and guest experiences. You will greet guests, manage reservations with OpenTable and Micros, seat guests, and coordinate with restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

Create a warm, friendly and professional first impression for every guest

Manage reservations and seating using OpenTable and Micros

Build genuine connections with guests, recognising regulars and enhancing their experience

Anticipate guest needs and ensure a smooth, enjoyable visit from arrival to departure

Communicate effectively with the restaurant, kitchen and management teams (including dietary requirements, celebrations, and special requests)

Maintain a clear overview of the dining room to ensure efficient service flow

Handle phone and in‑person enquiries with confidence and professionalism

Be a knowledgeable point of contact, guiding guests around the venue and hotel
