Job summary

BMI Group in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Project Specification Manager for Flat Refurbishment to lead our growth in the North East of England. You will act as a technical consultant, integrating complete flat roofing systems and supporting specification guarantees to specifiers, architects and main contractors.

This is a home-based role with travel across the North East; you’ll manage site visits, deliver specs, forecast sales, and use SAP C4C CRM to keep the pipeline accurate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in solution or specification sales within building materials, roofing, or waterproofing.
• Ability to read, interpret, and influence project specs with architects, surveyors, and contractors.
• Comfortable working at heights and performing hands-on site surveys safely.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage high-volume visit schedules and CRM tracking.

Responsibilities

• Drive Specification Sales: Promote BMI’s flat roofing systems and embed SpecMaster guarantees into project specs.
• Conduct around 12 customer and site visits per week to build client relationships and drive revenue growth.
• Provide End‑to‑End Technical Support from design through to installation and sign-off.
• Manage forecasts and identify new business opportunities; maintain pipeline in SAP C4C.
