Job summary

Virtual Hire Staffing is seeking a hands-on Site Manager for a specialist industrial roofing contractor. You will lead roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, safe practices and high-quality workmanship across commercial, retail and educational sectors.

Location options include Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, Sussex and Surrey, with commutable towns such as Worthing. Salary up to £50,000, company car, 33 days’ holiday, private healthcare and early finish on

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within roofing or construction.
Strong knowledge of roofing systems and installation techniques.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Leadership and communication abilities.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Oversee all on-site activities and ensure safety and quality standards.
Manage project schedules, budgets and resources for timely completion.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and team members for smooth execution.
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve delays promptly.
Ensure work is carried out in accordance with plans, specs and standards.
Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.
Foster a positive team environment and collaboration on site.
