Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Roofer to join a social housing contractor delivering long-term works across the Manchester area. This role covers roofing repairs, maintenance and tile replacement on occupied and void properties, with strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

You must have proven roofing experience in social housing or related settings, possess your own tools and transport, hold a CSCS card, and be able to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofer within social housing, property maintenance, or construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of roofing repairs, maintenance, and tile replacement.
• General all-round building trades knowledge.
• Previous experience working in occupied residential properties.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Own tools and reliable transport.
• Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Gold preferred).
• DBS Certificate or willingness to undergo a DBS check before starting.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out roofing repairs and planned maintenance works.
• Replace damaged or missing roof tiles and associated roofing components.
• Diagnose roofing faults and carry out remedial works.

We are currently recruiting for experienced Roofers to join a growing contractor delivering long-term social housing works across the Manchester area. Following the award of several new contracts, our client is looking for skilled tradespeople to undertake roofing repairs and maintenance across occupied and void residential properties.

The Role

Working throughout Manchester, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of roofing repairs, maintenance works, and tile replacements within social housing properties. As the role involves working within people's homes and tenanted environments, excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Candidates with a broad building trades background and general maintenance knowledge will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
