Calibre Search is recruiting an experienced Roofer to join a maintenance team serving a leading national retail chain in the North Scotland region. The role involves planned and reactive roof maintenance across multiple sites, with a two-person team and travel across the North of Scotland.

We seek someone with roofing maintenance experience, knowledge of roofing systems, and a full UK driving licence. The package includes a basic salary of £30,922, overtime, and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the inspection, maintenance, and repair of various roofing systems, including slate, metal, and felt roofs.
• Cleaning and clearing gutters, downpipes, and drainage systems.
• Completing roof repairs and preventative maintenance works.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Delivering a professional and customer-focused service on site.
• Recording job information using company systems and basic IT applications.
• Travelling to customer locations as required.

Salary: £30,922 Basic + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Roofer to join a growing maintenance team working on behalf of a leading national retail chain.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Roofer with roofing maintenance experience who is looking for a long-term career with a well-established company that offers regular overtime, ongoing training, and an excellent benefits package.

The Role

Working as part of a two-person team, you will play a key role as a Roofer, delivering planned and reactive roofing maintenance across retail sites throughout the North of Scotland.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out the inspection, maintenance, and repair of various roofing systems, including slate, metal, and felt roofs
• Cleaning and clearing gutters, downpipes, and drainage systems
• Completing roof repairs and preventative maintenance works
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Delivering a professional and customer-focused service on site
• Recording job information using company systems and basic IT applications
• Travelling to customer locations as required

About You

To be considered for this Roofer position, you will have:

Previous experience within roofing maintenance, repairs, or a similar roofing environment

Knowledge of roofing systems, gutters, and downpipes

Good communication and customer service skills

A full UK driving licence

Basic IT skills

A flexible approach to working hours and travel requirements

The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable

MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) qualificationTraining can be provided for the successful Roofer if required.

Location

Ideally, applicants for this Roofer role will be based in or around the North of Scotland to support travel across the region.
