Job summary

Automated Architecture (AUAR) in London seeks an electrical engineer to take ownership of day-to-day electrical build on the MicroFactory. You will design, build, test and document systems that run on site, ensuring safety and repeatability as production scales.

The role emphasizes hands-on work in workshop and on construction sites, with clear growth toward design responsibilities and end-to-end ownership of builds.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical build experience in industrial automation or machine building.
• Fault-finding and diagnosing faults across electrical systems.
• Solid knowledge of machine safety standards (BS 7671, BS EN 60204-1, ISO 13849).
• Practical PLC-controlled equipment experience and wiring/commissioning.
• Ability to read/update electrical schematics and GA drawings.
• Track record of owning work end to end and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day electrical build on the MicroFactory, from wiring to testing and sign-off.
• Define and run tests to prove electrical systems meet safety and build specs before shipment.
• Commission, fault-find and support deployments on customer sites.
• Own electrical design packages and keep documentation up to date for repeatability.
