Job summary

Automated Architecture (AUAR) seeks a Lead Robotics Engineer to lead the robotics systems behind the MicroFactory platform. You’ll work directly in our ROS 2 stack, drive architectural decisions, review PRs, and debug on real hardware while mentoring a team of engineers across software, simulation and system integration.

Qualifications

• Deep robotics software experience and shipped robotics code on real hardware.
• ROS 2 is a comfortable home and you can contribute from day one.
• Greenfield track record: turning concepts into working systems and products.
• Strong C++ and Python skills to contribute directly to production code.

Responsibilities

• Shape and evolve the ROS 2 and behaviour-tree architecture coordinating robots, tooling and production.
• Turn product objectives into credible engineering plans with ownership and milestones.
• Improve engineering throughput by identifying constraints and aligning capacity.
• Make fast, informed architecture decisions and balance scope vs. delivery.
• Review designs/code, unblock engineers and raise the codebase quality.
