Job summary

Arc Executive Headhunters Ltd is recruiting an Application Sales Engineer to drive robotic welding and turnkey welding automation solutions across the UK and Ireland. The role involves understanding customer processes, identifying automation opportunities and delivering technically viable proposals.

You will work with customers and a regional engineering team to progress discussions, assess applications and secure orders, with travel across the UK and occasional overseas trips as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotic welding and welding automation environments.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills to present proposals and build relationships.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK, with occasional overseas trips.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop opportunities for robotic welding cells and turnkey welding automation solutions in the UK and Ireland.
• Promote robotic welding cells and turnkey welding automation to end users, manufacturers, distributors and integrators.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle.
• Assess customer applications and develop technical proposals with internal engineering teams.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry through order placement and support business growth.
