Job summary

ESAB UK is seeking a Sales Representative for the Industrial Welding Equipment & Solutions segment covering the South of the UK. You will drive growth across HIP, DS and Robotics, building relationships with distributors, system integrators, and customers while collaborating with Field Sales, Product Management, and Sales Management.

You will apply your welding industry knowledge to win new business, maintain CRM records, and deliver revenue targets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in welding or sales within welding industry.
• Education: Technical college or secondary-school level.
• Proficient in MIG/TIG/MMA welding or strong welding industry knowledge.
• Languages: Local language C1 + English A2/B2 depending on reporting structure.
• Valid driver’s license and willing to travel 3–4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer potential and develop growth plans for HIP, DS, and Robotics.
• Develop new customers and opportunities across the territory.
• Build and manage relationships with system integrators and distributors.
• Value-sell ESAB and EWM solutions to customers.
• Manage the sales funnel and achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Conduct regular customer visits and develop account plans.
• Maintain strong knowledge of ESAB and EWM product portfolio and differentiators.
• Provide technical and commercial guidance to customers and partners.
• Collect market feedback on customer needs, competition, and tech requirements.
• Work with Field Sales, Sales Management, and Product Management.
• Maintain accurate CRM, opportunity, and contract information.
• Follow commercial standard work and actively manage the sales pipeline.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer value and business performance.
