Job summary

Nter Talent is seeking a Service Engineer to provide onsite service and technical support for robotic packaging machinery across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. You will troubleshoot, install, commission and maintain equipment, while working closely with customers and internal teams.

Role requires hands-on technical ability, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Occasional on-call support and travel to customer sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of robotic packaging machinery.
• Solid electrical and mechanical background.
• IT software experience, including control packages.
• Excellent customer service skills, with strong troubleshooting and complex problem-solving ability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational, time management, and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service across UK, Ireland and Europe, with occasional worldwide support.
• Deliver breakdown and planned maintenance via site visits and remote support.
• Support machine modifications and change parts.
• Recommend training needs and spare parts.
• Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance.
• Provide on-site operator/engineer training.
• On-call out-of-hours support.
• Support FAT at overseas site.
