Job summary

Major Recruitment seeks a Field Service Engineer to join a team specialising in packaging machinery. You will be based in Bradford with UK-wide travel to install, service and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities include installation, commissioning, fault finding, PLC work, and customer training, with travel to customer sites across the UK. A strong electrical background with mechanical knowledge is preferred, and experience in packaging machinery is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging or production machinery is advantageous.
• Strong electrical background with mechanical knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of packaging machinery.
• Servicing and maintenance of equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Working with PLCs and electrical control systems.
• Providing technical support to customers.
• Training customers on operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Traveling to customer sites across the UK for service.
