Job summary

LCM Engineering and Consultancy Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer to lead robotic automation system projects from concept to handover. The role focuses on delivering automotive and general industry automation lines, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning, and managing stakeholders.

You will oversee budgets, schedules and compliance, develop team capability, and progress into broader project management opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing automation, automotive, or industrial line-building programs.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and automation processes.
• Experience with automotive OEM standards.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent commercial acumen including budget management and cost/change control.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of automation projects, including concepts through installation and handover.
• Develop and maintain project timing plans, milestones, budgets and technical oversight.
• Coordinate design, manufacture, installation and commissioning activities across teams.
• Manage client expectations, change control, procurement strategy and contract management.
