Job summary

LCM Engineering & Consultancy Ltd is recruiting a Project Engineer to lead robot automation line-building projects in automotive and general industries from concept through commissioning and handover.

You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, installation, supply chain and customer stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget, while adhering to client specifications and HSE standards. A clear development path toward project management is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing automation, automotive, or industrial line-building & tooling programs.
• Strong mechanical principles understanding with automation/robotics/tools & assembly processes experience.
• Experience with automation for resistance spot welding, MIG welding, robot handling, automated screw fixing, clinching, SPR, or adhesive applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of automation projects from concept to handover.
• Develop and maintain project timing plans, milestones, budgets and technical oversight.
• Ensure projects meet customer specs, regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
• Maintain overall project leadership including change control, client interface and supplier management.
• Oversee procurement strategy and contract management for long-lead equipment.
