Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead the delivery of automated robotics projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, software and embedded systems, from planning through deployment, serving customers in multiple regions.

The role requires a strong background in automation, hardware and software delivery, with proven experience managing scope, schedules, budgets and stakeholders across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex hardware and software projects in automation/robotics.
• Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks and stakeholders.
• Solid technical understanding of integrated engineering systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex engineering projects across planning, development, system integration, validation, manufacture and deployment.
• Develop and manage project plans with milestones, budgets, resources and critical-path activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, software, embedded systems, manufacturing and field operations.
• Manage project governance: risks, issues, change control, status reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with technical leads to resolve blockers and ensure product safety, quality and performance.
• Oversee system integration, verification, commissioning, field trials and transition to repeatable manufacture.
