moveatech Limited is seeking a Project Engineer - Automation Systems to join our Bedfordshire facility. You will lead robotics-based automation and assembly projects from concept through build, installation, commissioning and handover, with periodic travel across the UK.

The role requires experience delivering automation projects for automotive tooling, strong understanding of automation and robotics, and proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, budgets and change control.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience delivering automation, automotive tooling projects.
• Sound understanding of automation, robotics, tooling and assembly processes; mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Strong commercial, contract, budget and change-control capability.
• Confident communicator and organised problem-solver, able to manage multiple workstreams under pressure.
• Engineering qualification, time-served apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.

Aufgaben

• Own project timing, budgets, technical delivery, change control and reporting.
• Act as the main customer contact and coordinate engineering, controls, manufacturing, installation, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage commercial obligations, procurement, forecasting, cost control and margin protection.
• Oversee FAT, SAT, commissioning, customer buy-off and handover.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring quality, regulatory and HSE compliance.
