Job summary

Pact Coffee is hiring an experienced Operations Manager to run and continuously improve the Haslemere Roastery. You’ll own H&S, SOPs, site standards, equipment reliability and continuous improvement across Production, Roasting and Procurement & Inventory.

Working hands-on, you’ll identify risks, lead practical improvements and ensure audit-ready HACCP, GMP and BRCGS compliance while collaborating with management to raise standards and performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Health & Safety expertise at a manufacturing site.
• Experience creating, reviewing and enforcing site SOPs and procedures.
• Ability to identify root causes and deliver practical improvements.
• Proven track record in continuous improvement across operations.

Responsibilities

• Own Health & Safety standards across the Roastery and manage risk.
• Lead the SOP framework and update procedures for safe, consistent work.
• Apply manufacturing expertise to improve safety, reliability and efficiency.
• Investigate recurring issues and implement lasting solutions.
• Drive projects across Operations with cross-team coordination.
• Oversee maintenance planning and equipment reliability with contractors.
• Support changes with practical manufacturing input on new processes.
• Maintain HACCP, GMP and BRCGS compliance and audit readiness.
