Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Roaming Barista / Catering Assistant Supervisor to support our contracted sites across the Birmingham/ Midlands area. This field-based role requires a driver with own transport and a flexible approach to working across locations.

You will lead barista service, ensure food hygiene and brand standards, manage payments and stock, and help develop staff with our apprenticeship programme. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Must have own transport and be able to travel across Birmingham/Midlands.
• Experience and ability to work alone is essential.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to shift patterns.
• Experience in customer service or food preparation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to produce high-quality barista coffee for staff and visitors.
• Ensure food hygiene and health & safety policies are followed; manage wastage.
• Maintain stock, rotate items, and set up locations in the morning.
• Manage payments and cash handling.
• Conduct daily stock takes of products.

Hours: 40 per week

A fantastic B&I location in Birmingham for a leading clothing company. Catering for 120 at this location. We have a breakfast and lunch offering here with some hospitality. This is a Monday to Friday operation. Additional benefit of this location is free parking and use of gym.

We are looking for a talented Roaming Barista / Catering Assistant Supervisor - Field Basedto join our team and support our prestigious contracts in and around the Birmingham / Midlandsarea average commute up to 1 hour.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Must have own transport, mileage allowance paid. Applicant must be flexible, Experience and ability to work alone is essential.

Key responsibilities:

• To work well in a team producing the best barista coffee for staff and visitors
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• Ensure that all retail items are stocked and rotated regularly
• Set up of location in the mornings for daily operation
• Manage payments and any cash handling.
• Daily stock takes of products available

You will have the following skills:

• An all-round team player
• Personable, good sense of humour, fun.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
