Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and end each day at home, working locally within your cluster with your RAC van and diagnostic kit.

You’ll join a team that values quick, confident solutions and outstanding member service, with a base salary that reflects the role and the opportunity for OTE. This is a fast-paced, rewarding field role in automotive services.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home with RAC van and diagnostic kit.
