Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Roadside Technician to join our Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare area operations. You will diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs in a patrol vehicle, with a 4-day weekly schedule and a company van provided.

The role requires a full UK driving licence (up to 5 points) and relevant automotive qualifications or equivalent workshop experience, along with the right to work in the UK. Generous benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (max 5 points) is required.
• Level 2 automotive or mechanical qualification or 5 years workshop experience.
• Confident working independently and able to diagnose faults roadside.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults at the roadside.
• Carry out roadside repairs to get customers moving again.
• Test and replace vehicle batteries and perform tyre changes.
• Provide fuel assistance where required and explain faults clearly to customers.
