Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to cover a local area from home, performing diagnostics and roadside repairs to get members rolling again. You’ll start and finish at your driveway, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided.

Expect 40-hour weeks with flexible overtime and a strong earning potential as you help members in their time of need. The role emphasizes safety, speed and high-quality service, with progression opportunities and a supportive team culture

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
• Get members back on the road quickly with confident solutions.
• Tackle a variety of calls from flat batteries to tyre changes and complex faults.
