Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Cheltenham cluster, serving areas across the south of the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and support emergency breakdowns to get members back on the road quickly.

With an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and 2+ years’ experience, you’ll work from a home-base while covering local calls. Base salary £36,400 with realistic OTE £60k+ and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
