Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, repair vehicles on the roadside and assist members to continue their journeys with confidence.

The role offers a strong base salary with an achievable OTE, structured development, and IMI accreditation opportunities. Expect demand-led shifts and autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• 2+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Diagnose faults and fix issues quickly for members
