The RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. Starting on your driveway with demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week and optional overtime, the role includes a structured development programme and IMI accreditation to grow your diagnostic capabilities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilités

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults independently and provide quick, confident solutions for members.

Formation
