Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years' experience, you'll diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs to get members back on the road quickly.

You will start and end your day at home, backed by a fully equipped RAC van and diagnostic kit. Base salary is £41,600 with a realistic OTE around £65,000, and overtime bonuses.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years in role.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish each day at home with RAC van and tools.
