Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish at home, with demand-led shifts and a typical 40-hour week.

Requirements include NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or 2+ years’ experience) or 5+ years as a Technician, plus a clean UK driving licence. You’ll receive a competitive base salary and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years’ experience.
• Alternatively, 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish at home and tackle challenges on the roadside with the RAC vans and tools.
