Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division across the UK. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification and at least 2 years' post-qualification experience, you will diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and provide rapid breakdown support to members.

You’ll start and finish each shift from home, working demand-led hours and taking on around 40 hours per week with optional overtime.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical experience.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish each shift from home; 40 hours per week with demand-led shifts; overtime available.
