The ideal candidate must have a level 2 qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair, alongside a full UK driving licence. Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicle issues and conducting maintenance to ensure vehicles are road-ready. • Full UK driving licence is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns, diagnose issues, and work to get vehicles back on the road.
• Identify problems and advise customers on vehicle issues.
• Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical and diagnostics.

Job description

Roadside Technician – Belfast

Salary: £35,000 basic + overtime at £25.24ph – OTE 53k+
Hours: 6am – 10pm, flexible 9am – 5pm or 8am – 4pm – 40 hour week, rota given in advance

Role

• Attend breakdowns, diagnose issues, and work to get vehicles back on the road or forward to workshop
• Identify problems and advise customers on vehicle issues
• Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical and diagnostics
• Deliver exceptional customer service as the face of the business

Requirements

• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds level 2 in vehicle maintenance and repair (HGV maintenance & repair level 2 and Mechanical Engineering level 2 accepted)
• Full UK driving licence
