Job summary

The AA is seeking a Roadside Rescue Mechanic to join our team in the UK. You will be the friendly face of the UK's largest motoring organisation, assisting members and getting drivers back on the road in any weather, any time.

You will operate from your van, earning a guaranteed £38,270 in year one with an OTE up to £60,000 for top performers. You will work independently across varied locations with flexible shift patterns, using your technical skills to resolve breakdowns and ensure exceptional

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Full category B driving licence, 6 points or less
• Willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

• Starting and finishing on your driveway paid from the moment you get in your van to the moment you get home.
• Working independently across varied locations and conditions, while remaining a valued part of a supportive team.
• Using your technical knowledge and clear communication to help ensure a positive customer experience.

Shifts: As a patrol you will work on average 40 hour week with a variety of shift pattern options available, you have the flexibility to choose a schedule that best suits your personal and professional needs. The number of rest days you enjoy each year, as well as the length of your shifts will vary based on the shift pattern you select.

What do I need?

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience


• It's essential that you have a full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less


• Confidence using and adapting to new technology we'll provide the tools, you bring the curiosity.


• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays because breakdowns don't stick to a schedule.
