Job summary

RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Mechanic to diagnose faults and carry out vehicle repairs on roadside or in workshops across the Esher cluster and wider UK. You’ll be calm under pressure, connect with members, and deliver the RAC difference on every call-out.

We provide your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit, with a development pathway toward industry accreditation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform vehicle repairs on roadside or in workshop.
• Manage own kit, keep van stocked, and handle reports with precision.
• Read situations to find the right fix and support RAC members.

Education

NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)

5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
