Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Roadside Technician for the Patrol division to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.

Candidates need NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician, plus a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points. You will diagnose faults, work independently, and advance skills through our IMI-accredited development program.

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience
• 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a clean UK driving licence

Job description

As a Roadside Technician within our Patrol division, you'll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. Whether it's a flat battery, tyre change, or complex fault-finding, you'll provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when our members need it most.

NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

You'll work independently to diagnose faults, solve problems and help members continue their journeys safely. Chesterfield, Derbyshire - Up to £60k OTE Full Time
