Job summary

WSP is seeking a proactive Technician for the Roads team in Guildford. You will join a multidisciplinary group delivering highway design and road improvement projects, liaising with clients and stakeholders while developing design outputs.

The role offers hybrid working with opportunities to grow across utilities, carbon, and digital disciplines. Ideal candidates have Level 4 STEM qualifications or equivalent experience, familiarity with Civils3D/AutoCAD, and a willingness to learn BIM and

Qualifications

• Experience using design software and delivering engineering outputs.
• Ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
• Understanding of highway engineering principles and design processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highway design solutions and road improvements.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team delivering projects of varying scale.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Contribute to carbon and sustainable design efforts using relevant tools.
• Visit sites to inform designs and support project delivery.
