Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Technician to join the Roads team in Guildford. You will deliver highway design solutions, work in a multidisciplinary team, and engage with various stakeholders to improve local and strategic road networks. The role requires a Level 4 qualification in a STEM subject or equivalent experience. WSP offers hybrid work flexibility, including two days at home, and robust health and wellbeing support. Opportunities to collaborate in modern offices across the UK are available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a passion for design and developing innovative solutions.
• Good knowledge of relevant design standards and codes of best practice.
• Experience handling data with MS Excel or other data systems.
• Ability to undertake site visits to inform designs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highway design solutions for various projects.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations.
• Deliver solutions in compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
