WSP in Birmingham is seeking an Associate to join the Roads team. You will provide technical leadership to design teams and deliver high-quality outputs on time and within budget.

The role requires chartered status, broad highway project experience, and strong client relationship skills. You will mentor junior staff and support business development while aligning with our Transport and Infrastructure group.

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil Engineer with extensive post-qualification experience in highways.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and mentor junior staff.
• Experience with contract documents and administration on public works.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of UK design standards and CDM regulations.

Responsabilités

• Lead multi-disciplinary highway projects to meet time and budget.
• Oversee design outputs, prepare tenders, and manage budgets.
• Mentor team members and support business development.
• Collaborate with clients and internal Transport teams.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards.
