Job summary

BEAR Scotland is seeking a Roads Engineer to support design and delivery of trunk road improvement schemes across the Northwest network, based in Perth. You will investigate, design and coordinate with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders.

The role handles schemes from 50k to 1M, with a focus on delivering compliant solutions under DMRB and CDM, while progressing toward Chartership. The role offers a hybrid pattern and opportunities across Scotland's challenging regions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
• Knowledge of DMRB.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake engineering investigations and develop design solutions.
• Prepare reports, drawings, specifications, and BoQs.
• Support the delivery of trunk road improvement schemes.
• Assist with procurement and tender processes.
• Ensure compliance with DMRB and CDM Regulations.
