Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced project lead for highway schemes to manage inception through delivery, with client-facing responsibilities and a focus on value engineering and quality.

You will oversee a team of professionals, drive operational excellence, and contribute to new national infrastructure initiatives while collaborating with design teams and clients across the public and private sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a Professional Services team in a consultancy business.
• Experience operating at management level delivering services into the public and private sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead health, safety, and wellbeing culture on projects.
• Drive utilisation and budget targets.
• Develop pipeline and ensure workload for your team.
• Plan team growth and recruit to fill key roles.
• Line manage and develop team members to goals.
• Lead on business development across defence, ports, aviation, digital, energy and more.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs and ensure timely delivery.
• Agree fees and manage the commercial position on projects.
