Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland seeks engineers to join the Roads team in Wales, based in Cardiff or Wrexham. You will lead day-to-day technical delivery of highway consultancy services through feasibility, design and construction, working with clients to achieve timely delivery.

Role requires track record in highway schemes, strong communication and leadership. Depending on grade, you may lead multiple disciplines, manage budgets, and support junior staff in a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in highway design and/or drainage through lifecycle stages.
• Leadership of one or more design disciplines on relevant projects.
• Familiarity with design codes and contract documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical delivery of highway consultancy services.
• Manage budgets and fee proposals for projects.
• Lead and mentor staff in design delivery and QA.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs and client communication.
