Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel is seeking a data-driven Business Analyst to join our Road Logistics team. You will translate operational and financial data into actionable insights, develop and maintain dashboards, and support decision-making across finance and operations.

The role requires strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, experience with Tableau or similar BI tools, and a proactive mindset to improve reporting and processes while collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Road Logistics.
• Experience in a Business Analyst or similar analytical role with a strong focus on data-driven decision‑making.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint.
• Experience with dashboard visualisation tools such as Tableau or similar BI platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to work across different business functions.
• Experience with SQL, VBA, data warehousing or ETL concepts would be advantageous.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a genuine interest in using data to create business value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards that combine operational and financial data.
• Analyse business performance, KPIs and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and support informed decision‑making.
• Produce accurate daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports that meet business requirements.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and accessibility across reporting systems.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and master data teams to translate business needs into effective reporting solutions.
• Provide reporting on sales performance and KPIs.
• Continuously improve reporting logic and dashboard functionality as business requirements evolve.
• Deliver training and guidance to help stakeholders confidently use and interpret reporting dashboards.
• Build strong relationships across the business to support data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement.
