Job summary

Confidential in Rugby, Warwickshire is seeking a proactive sales professional to drive new business and grow revenues in the UK & EU road freight division. The role supports hybrid working from the Coventry/Rugby area with potential for travel to industry events and client sites.

You will own the sales journey, build a robust UK/EU road freight pipeline, lead customer meetings, and collaborate with the Head of Sales to tailor freight solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Proven sales and business development experience.
• Experience in Freight/Logistics, road freight preferred.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the sales journey from spotting opportunities to closing new customers for road freight services.
• Build a strong pipeline across UK & EU road freight market.
• Lead customer meetings, presentations and site visits.
• Represent the business at industry events and exhibitions.
• Identify customer challenges and design freight and logistics solutions with Head of Sales.
