Job summary

rhe is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage client relationships, oversee onboarding and retention, and monitor shipments in transit. You will provide proactive updates, resolve issues, and ensure smooth fulfillment for European road freight clients.

In this role you will coordinate with overseas partners and carriers, log POD documents, and support invoicing. Strong communication, math skills, and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Organization skills to track multiple shipments and schedules.
• Clear communication with clients, overseas partners, and carriers.
• Ability to solve delays, route changes or customs holds.
• Proficiency in math and English.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in European Road Freight.

Responsibilities

• Act as the dedicated point of contact for clients, providing regular shipping updates and resolving concerns proactively.
• Guide new clients smoothly through onboarding processes and maintain high service standards to drive account retention.
• Monitor shipments in transit and update clients on delivery progress.
• Arrange cargo insurance and handle claims for lost or damaged goods.
• Verify the commercial invoices and request for all import/export paperwork to be raised.
• Negotiate prices and book cargo space with transport carriers and in our internal systems.
• Collect, verify, and log Proof of Delivery (POD) documents promptly to trigger client billing and close out files.
