Responsibilities

  • Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients, consistent with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice.
  • Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
  • Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.
  • Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
  • Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers; identifies issues and resources.

Job Requirements
  • Education/Skills: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience: 1 year in related nursing specialty preferred.
  • Licenses: BLS required; RN license in state or compact.
